Creativity and Wellbeing Week

NICHE Anchor Institute sponsored Creativity and Wellbeing Week at the School of Health Sciences, University of East Anglia

Creativity and Wellbeing week is a national festival celebrating the power of creativity and culture to improve our health and wellbeing. Last year, HSC enjoyed its first student and staff art exhibition and competition, so this year we went even bigger, with a week's worth of creative art-based workshops and wellbeing activities.

The week culminated in an art exhibition in the Norwich Electronic Assistive Technology (NEAT) Suite in Queen's Building on the UEA campus. Staff, students, friends and family came to experience the entire experience in one space. Over 30 attendees reported how the event inspired and really captured the joy, energy, and cohesiveness the arts engagement offered.

Our winners: Roanna Fernandes, Vanessa Tam and Martha Whitehouse-Eagle.
The full catalogue of the 2023 artworks is still available from Queen’s Building reception.
