NEW for the academic year 2024-2025, we are offering practitioners the opportunity to connect with other Reception Class Teachers locally through our Local Hub Host framework
Practitioners who are interested in this professional development opportunity will be sent a ‘digital invite poster’ and ‘local hub host pack’ to invite other local Reception Class Teachers to join them in their classroom for the scheduled meetings. They will use the materials in the ‘local hub host pack’ to make colleagues feel welcomed and part of the hub.
Local Hub Hosts log on to the normal online meeting. Then when it comes to the small group talks, they will not be transferred to an online breakout room, instead will turn to talk with the other people in their classroom. Its as simple as that!
As Local hubs get established, we will keep a register and let participants know. That way Reception Class Teacher will have a choice to join us online, join an established Hub or set one up themselves. Whichever way works best for you, we want to help.
