The UEA Poetics Project brings together poets, translators, critics, and theorists, both staff, and students and alumni, engaged in the work of ‘poetics': reflection on poetry taking place through poetic practice, through the practice of criticism and translation, through theory.
It brings together activity in exhibitions, fellowships, publications, readings, research projects, seminars, and symposia in and around UEA.
We also host a visiting Poetry Fellow each year. Recent Fellows have included Juliana Spahr (2015), Lisa Robertson (2017), Ariana Reines (2018), and Vahni Capildeo (as one of our 2019 UNESCO Creative Fellows).
