As a Wellbeing Trainer, you will design and deliver wellbeing-focussed training and skills building sessions that empower students to take proactive control of their mental health and overall wellbeing. You will also provide essential information on available support services and how to access them. Key topics will include stress management, resilience, wellness action planning, motivation, and mental health awareness, with both in-person and online sessions offered across the University.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of initiatives, from embedding wellbeing practices within the curriculum to offering a central menu of workshops, events and online resources accessible to students throughout the academic year. You will also tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of diverse student groups, ensuring the highest impact in enhancing their wellbeing. This role is not just about delivering knowledge; it’s about using pedagogical strategies to activate learning, build essential skills, and foster lasting behavioural change.
