Campus accessibility
The University is committed to promoting a positive attitude to disabled people and to creating the conditions in which all students can participate fully in the academic, social and recreational life of the University.
The campus is generally accessible although wheelchair users sometimes have to take an alternative route. The University has a rolling programme of improvements to existing facilities and aims to incorporate high standards of disabled access into all new buildings.
If you have an individual request, please contact us before the event with as much notice as possible as this will allow us to address your request promptly. Our contact information can be found below.

Quiet Zone and Quiet Space*: We understand that attending an Open Day may be quite overwhelming, so if you would like a quiet place to check in then visit our Student Information Zone (SIZ) to register in a small, quiet environment. You can also chat to our teams from Admissions, Student Support and Student Finance here. Look out for staff carrying a ‘follow me to quiet check in’ placard as you get off the Costessey Park & Ride bus to find your way. If you require a quiet space on the day, please head to room 0.30, Norwich Medical School.
Wellbeing Ambassadors*: Our Wellbeing Ambassadors wear bright orange lanyards and will be all over campus during the Open Day. Feel free to stop them and ask any questions you have about Wellbeing and Student Support at UEA. If they are unable to answer your question, they will be able to signpost you to someone who can.
