As an undergraduate Medical (MED) student your accommodation licence will cover the standard 40 week period and we will allocate you with other MED students.
As a Health Sciences (HSC) student your course is longer than the standard UEA undergraduate course - so you will need to stay in UEA accommodation for longer than the standard 40 week period. This varies depending on the specific course.
MED and HSC students will be offered a room in a designated HSC/MED flat, however you still have the full range of room type options. Each flat in a designated HSC area will will be made up of students from a mix of health courses.
MED Foundation Year - 40 weeks
All other MED courses - 40 weeks
HSC courses - 42-48 weeks (depending on individual course)
Placements
Prospective students are politely advised that they will be committing to the full licence period and that they will not be released from the licence to attend work placements (or equivalent).
