It is very important that you keep your personal details up-to-date throughout your time at UEA.
It is a condition of your immigration permission that you ensure UEA and UKVI has your most up-to-date personal information.
Updating UEA
Passports and Visa Status
UEA must hold a copy of your current passport and visa for your student visa record. If you receive a new passport or visa during your studies, you must supply us with a copy. For a new passport, take a clear photograph or scan, and for a new visa, provide a new share code, and then attach this to an email containing:
Your full name
Your UEA Student ID number
The reason you received a new passport and/or visa
Send this email to student.visacompliance@uea.ac.uk. The Student Visa Compliance team can then update your student visa record.
If your immigration status changes during your studies at UEA - for example, if you switch from a Student visa to a PBS Dependant visa - please contact Student Life International.
Contact details and other personal details
Please make sure that your home and UK addresses, your personal email, mobile phone number and next of kin (family) contact information is up to date on e:Vision. If you need help with e:Vision please contact the Student Information Zone. If you go on placement as part of your course and move away from Norwich, you should also change your UK address then.
If you change your name, gender, or nationality, please contact Student Life International for support with updating your records. The University may need to see documentation as evidence of this change.
