Access to HE students are invited to join us for our free Access to HE Event
This dedicated event has been designed to provide valuable insight for Access learners looking to progress into Higher Education. This is not a recruitment event. It aims to give you a flavour of mature student life in a university setting to help with informed decision making. We would love for you to bring your curiosity and learn more about how universities support our diverse groups of students.
University staff and students will be on hand to help you prepare for navigating university and how you can make it work alongside life.
Academic taster session
We will ask you to confirm your subjects of interest so we can allocate you to a workshop that suits the subjects you’re looking to study. These are designed to give you a taste of a classroom setting at university, and not a specific subject insight. For this, we would recommend you attend a university open day. You can find out about UEA’s Open Days for specific subject insight and do the same for any university you’re considering applying to.
We will be in touch on 10th October to confirm workshop allocations.
What happens after you sign up?
After completing the registration form, you will receive an email confirming receipt. If you highlight a reasonable adjustment requirement, we will be in touch to ensure a comfortable visit. Otherwise, notifications of workshops and joining information will be emailed on 10th October 2024.
