Clearing for International Students
Clearing is a process in the UK Education system through UCAS that helps students, including international students, secure a university place if they haven’t already received an offer or if they’ve changed their mind about their chosen course or institution.
During Clearing, U.K Universities, including UEA, advertise available spaces on their courses. International students interested in studying with us can use Clearing to explore alternative options and find a suitable course that matches their academic interests and qualifications.
Use our step-by-step breakdown of the Clearing process to guide you through Clearing 2024.
The Clearing process works the same on UCAS Hub for international students as it does for UK students, but there are some differences around the documents you need (see eligibility for clearing as an international student below), see our Clearing FAQs for common queries such as when you can start applying and details on deposits.
Clearing 2024 is now closed for international applications.
