Computer science has always played a pivotal role in the advancement of healthcare.
UEA’s School of Computing has established the Health Technologies Research Group to continue this collaboration between the computing and medical sciences. Our mission is for our work to deliver not only new understandings in healthcare today but for this to become real health benefits for tomorrow.
Our researchers have specific expertise in artificial intelligence for instrumentation, behavioural sensing in mental health, machine learning for epidemiological analyses, the graphical modelling of childbirth and medical device security. The group has close collaborations with Norwich Medical School, the School of Health Sciences, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital as well as a wide range of international commercial and academic partners.
If you would like to connect with us and learn more about our activities, please contact the head of group Dr. Hane Aung.
