The CAVA team have just returned from the IEEE International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics (BHI’19), which was held in Chicago, Illinois.
This interdisciplinary conference focussed on the topics of informatics and computing in healthcare and life sciences, and was collocated with the IEEE International Conference on Wearable and Implantable Body Sensor Networks.
A summary of our latest results was presented in the form of a 1-page abstract, a poster and a 2-minute oral presentation. We received a lot of interest in our work and the conference also provided a great opportunity to learn about applied computing in other areas of medicine.
