Accreditations
This programme is accredited by AMBA – the Association of MBAs – placing it in the top 2% of MBAs globally. The MBA also offers dual accreditation from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). When you successfully complete this programme, you’ll receive either the CMI Level 7 Certificate in Professional Consulting or the Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice and gain CMI membership for the duration of your studies.
Study and Modules
Structure
Achieve the highest-level management qualification possible with our prestigious, 12-month full-time MBA. Become immersed in practical consultancy projects and work alongside a select and internationally diverse cohort of peers on a rigorous programme with a world-class reputation.
You’ll study the core business disciplines, including finance and accounting, operations, strategy, economics, management consultancy, marketing, leadership and professional/career development.
There are also a range of options modules such as entrepreneurship, branding, financial technologies and sustainability that will enrich and invigorate the learning experience and your future career opportunities.
Our AMBA accredited MBA is taught through a combination of lectures, seminars and workshops delivered by internationally recognised academics and industry specialists. The programme is designed to maximise the benefits of being part of an experienced group of peers from a range of professional backgrounds. Optional modules are co-taught with our Executive MBA students and include some online, evening sessions.

(Credits: 30)Whilst the University will make every effort to offer the modules listed, changes may sometimes be made arising from the annual monitoring, review and update of modules. Where this activity leads to significant (but not minor) changes to programmes and their constituent modules, the University will endeavour to consult with students and others. It is also possible that the University may not be able to offer a module for reasons outside of its control, such as the illness of a member of staff. In some cases optional modules can have limited places available and so you may be asked to make additional module choices in the event you do not gain a place on your first choice. Where this is the case, the University will inform students.
Teaching and Learning
Lectures will be supported by utilising applied learning constructs and case studies to help you develop strategic level knowledge and skills.
You’ll develop an analytical approach to problem solving enabling you to evaluate and interpret the strategic environment. This will enable you to progress skills necessary to effectively assess your own business organisation and apply MBA learning to address future strategic development, including leading and influencing strategic change.
A core aim of the programme is to develop your cognitive skills through the integration of taught material from diverse modules of study and its application in analysing problem-based situations.
Assessment
You’ll be assessed using a variety of individual coursework, which applies theory to practice; examinations; individual professional discussion; and group work (presentations and written reports).

A candidate’s work experience is highly significant and we are looking for applicants with a minimum of three years in a managerial, professional or entrepreneurial role and with experience of managing a team or project. We will look carefully at your CV when assessing your suitability for our MBA programme, so you are strongly encouraged to include as much detail as possible about the responsibilities and tasks for each role and the skills you have developed from these. If your CV does not sufficiently evidence your work experience, then we may not be able to progress your application.
In addition, candidates should normally possess one of the following:

First or second class honours degree, or international equivalent, or;

Relevant postgraduate diploma, or;

Qualification from a professional body recognised by UEA.
Applicants who do not hold a first degree or equivalent will be considered on the basis of their business and managerial experience, their career to date, and their likelihood of benefiting from the course. The final decision is at the discretion of the MBA Course Leader.

- English Foreign Language
Applications from students whose first language is not English are welcome. We require evidence of proficiency in English (including writing, speaking, listening and reading):

IELTS: 6.0 overall (minimum 6.0 in Writing and Speaking and 5.5 in Listening and Reading)
We also accept a number of other English language tests. Review our English Language Equivalencies for a list of example qualifications that we may accept to meet this requirement.
Test dates should be within two years of the course start date.
If you do not meet the English language requirements for this course, INTO UEA offer a variety of English language programmes which are designed to help you develop the required English skills.

Tuition fees for the Academic Year 2025/26 are:

If you choose to study part-time, the fee per annum will be half the annual fee for that year, or a pro-rata fee for the module credit you are taking (only available for Home students).
We estimate living expenses at £1,136 per month.
