Introduction
Prepare for direct entry to Year 2 of the BA in Film and Television Production, BA in Film and Television Studies, or the BA in Media Studies at UEA. Throughout this International Year One programme, you’ll benefit from studying with UEA first-year students through shared modules, and will become a part of UEA’s School of Art, Media and American Studies from day one.

What will I study?
All students complete modules required to join your chosen degree at UEA.

Specialist Modules: · Creative Critical Methods · Making Film and Video · Media Representation · TV Studio Production · Digital Media: Concepts, Technology and Cultures · Broadcasting, Streaming and Sharing
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is a combination of formal examinations and coursework, including written assignments, practical exercises, group and individual research projects, presentations, and problem-solving exercises.
Qualifications
English language requirements:
- IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in listening and no less than 5.0 in other subskills) or equivalent.
Academic requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of A-levels at grades D,D,D, (72 UCAS points) the first year of overseas university degree with good grades or equivalent. Minimum C in Maths GCSE or equivalent.
