Whether you'd like to change the world, make money or simply do what you love, our Student Enterprise team empowers UEA students and graduates to make it happen. We help the next generation of innovators develop the mindset, skills and capabilities needed to create new solutions to real world problems.
Through our programme of workshops and events, one-to-one sessions with the Student Enterprise team, advice from mentors and access to funding, we provide the necessary support and expertise to explore, develop, launch, grow and scale a business. We help our students practise their business skills, build valuable connections and turn their ideas into something viable.
Expert guidance
Developing an idea into a fully fledged business is an exciting project, but there are a lot of components to running a successful start-up. That’s why we offer one-to-one support sessions and enterprise skills workshops to inspire and inform students. Students receive guidance from entrepreneurs, industry experts and UEA alumni, who can help encourage ideas and share their knowledge.
With interactive workshops, accelerators, and information sessions on funding and market research, we have some great events which will assist students on their entrepreneurial journey.
Enterprise funding
Whether you're looking to test an idea, launch a venture, or secure growth for a social or commercial enterprise already running, funding could prove the difference in unlocking new opportunities. Students can apply for funding ranging from as little as a £500 grant to test an idea, up to a £50,000 investment to kickstart or grow a business.
