The Equality Act covers nine protected characteristics and the University has developed Codes of Practice and Briefing Notes for staff and managers to raise awareness, provide information and guidance, and inform them about their responsibilities.
Protected Characteristics
Reporting incidents – Report and Support reporting form is intended to be used to gather information on incidents of assault, harassment and hate that is experienced by staff, students and visitors. The information will be used to offer support, guidance and identify preventative measures to reduce incidents. You can choose not to provide identifying information, however if you do, we will not be able to offer any support or guidance.
