My name is Natalia Sosa Rojas and in 2021, I quit my job, turned down a promotion and left my family in Colombia because I wanted to do something different, something that had purpose and meaning. I came to UEA to study an MA in Broadcast Journalism and it changed my life! What is unique about the journalism course at the UEA is that from the very beginning professors involve you in activities to test your creativity and knowledge but also give you feedback which I believe is the most valuable part of the course. Professors are always willing and ready to help you with anything they can. That is in fact the best part of my experience at UEA, the professors, colleagues and friends that shaped the journalist I am becoming now.
“UEA has shown me that I can do many things I never even considered possible before.”
I have met amazing people from different parts of the world from whom I have learnt to view and experience the world from a new perspective. UEA has shown me that I can do many things I never even considered possible before. It has opened up many doors and opportunities for me to challenge myself in so many ways that reassure me that every decision and obstacle I have faced to come this far has been absolutely worth it.
