Committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
The School of History and Art History is passionate about working towards creating a fair and equal environment for both work and study. The School currently holds an Athena SWAN Bronze Award and, as a key part of this work, the School's Self-Assessment Team meet regularly to consider equality, diversity and inclusion issues affecting both staff and students and work to develop measured objectives, consequential actions and robust policies in order to support the achievement of those objectives. Should any member of the School, staff or student, wish to raise an equality or diversity issue or enquiry, they are welcome to contact the School's Athena Swan lead directly.
The School’s Staff Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) is an open and welcome forum for discussing matters of equality, diversity and inclusion. The SSLC has a dedicated student representative in attendance for matters relating to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. To raise any issues or get details of our student representatives please contact our Student Partnership Officer.
