Over the winter break, some facilities and services at UEA will have reduced opening hours and partial closures.
Food and drink outlets
UNIO (Union House): Closed from 16 December to 19 January
Zest (level 01, The Square): Closed from 23 December to 02 January
Vista (level 1, The Square): Closed from 14 December to 12 January
Ziggy's (The Street): Closed from 23 December to 02 January
Blend (level 0, The Square: Closed from 14 December to 12 January
Cafe 57 (Julian Study Centre): Closed from 14 December to 12 January
Grain (The Enterprise Centre): Closed from 21 December to 06 January
Sportspark
The Sportspark will be closed on Wednesday 25 December, Thursday 26 December and on Wednesday 1 January. For full details on activities and opening times, visit the Sportspark website.
The shop
The shop will remain open as usual over the winter break but with reduced opening hours from Monday 23 December to Wednesday 1 January, between 11am-3pm. The Shop will also be closed on the morning of Thursday 9 January for a stock take.
bar(su)
bar(su) will be closed on Sunday 15 December, open 4pm to midnight between Monday 16 December and Saturday 21 December, closed between Sunday 22 December and Sunday 5 January, open 4pm to midnight between Monday 6 and Saturday 11 January, closed on Sunday 12 January, and open 4pm to midnight on Monday 13 January.
Sainsbury Centre
The Sainsbury Centre will be closed between Monday 23 December and Thursday 26 December, and on Wednesday 1 January. The Sculpture Park will be open daily during daylight hours. Medical Centre
The UEA Medical Centre (UMS) will close on Wednesday 25 December and reopen on Friday 27 December. UMS will close again on Wednesday 1 January and reopen on Thursday 2 January. When closed, please phone NHS 111 for medical assistance, or 999 in a life-threatening emergency. For full details on opening hours and booking appointments, visit the UMS webpage.
Library
The Library will be open 24/7 throughout the winter break, with UEA Security staff available at the Library reception desk. Library staff will be available to answer queries up until 5pm on Friday 20 December and from 9am on Thursday 2 January.
