If you need us to certify photocopies of your UEA certificate as true photocopies of the original, we can do so.
These are photocopies of your original certificate which are individually stamped and signed by the University to confirm that they are an accurate and true copy of the original.
Please do not send us your original certificate - you will need to scan and email us your original certificate as we do not keep copies. Please note that charges, which are payable in advance, may apply.
As the University does not hold copies of certificates, you will need to send us full size, black and white or colour scans of your certificate. We will then check the details against our records, certify them and return them to you by post or email. Please do not send us your original certificate. Please see the details specified on the Student Records page.
There is a charge, payable in advance, for hard and digital copies (please see our Document Costs and Delivery Charges page for further details). If you would like us to provide you with hard or digital copies, see our Payment Instructions page. Unless otherwise requested, certified photocopies of certificates are posted via second class post (for UK addresses) or via International Standard (for International Addresses) free of charge. For further delivery options please see Special Delivery Options for more information.
Please note, the nominal fees we charge for our document services are in line with other universities. UEA does not make a profit from these charges but uses these funds to mitigate the cost of maintaining and retrieving student and alumni records
