Bus (including park & ride)

The easy way to get to and from UEA

Regular bus services pick up and drop off at the UEA campus, so you never have to wait too long to get to or from campus. There’s also a free park and ride service for students, staff and visitors.

Students can buy discounted Konectbus and First Bus passes and tickets.

Bike

Hop on your bike - get around the green way!

Getting to and from campus and around Norwich is easy on two wheels. There’s even a cycle route that connects UEA, Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, Norwich city centre and Heartsease and Broadland.
There's also lots of cycle storage space on campus, and a summer cycle storage scheme for students.

Walk

Why not earn rewards for walking?

UEA Moves app is free to download and provides great rewards.

Want to get involved in Sports clubs and activities? As a student, you’re welcome to get as involved as you’re available to! If activities end after the park and ride does, please note you can park in the main car park from 4.30pm and get your parking validated in the Sportspark.

Why not check out some of the beautiful walking trails around campus?

Cars and parking

Car parking spaces for those who need them

Parking on campus is limited, so you’re advised to use the free park and ride service as much as possible.

Living on campus and need to drive to a placement? You can apply for a permit for the duration of your placement. Staff and postgraduate research students can also apply for permits to park on campus.

UEA staff and students are welcome to sign up to our Liftshare database where you can find others making a similar journey to you. This is a fantastic way to share costs and help reduce the environmental impact of commuting.

Coach & Trains

If you’re looking to explore a little further afield National Express operates frequent services from our very own pick-up/set-down points on campus.

National Express provides services to London and all major airports.

Our local train services are provided by Abellio Greater Anglia.

Taxi

Norwich has many options for travel, most notable of which is the ever-present taxi. From the iconic Black taxis to the minicab. Taxis are a comfortable way to visit the city and Norfolk.

Local taxi providers can take you anywhere you want to go, however, they can be more expensive than the bus. Many of the taxi providers offer airport transfers to Norwich, Stansted and Heathrow as well as door to door cab journeys.

Did you know we have a safer taxi scheme? Check it out.
