My name is Tafadzwa Makwabarara and I am studying MSc. Climate change and International Development. Several factors contributed to my choosing UEA to further my studies apart from its beautiful, picturesque campus. The University has a very good world ranking and it’s renowned for its “world leading and “internationally excellent” researchers and programmes offered. Specific to me would be the School of International Development which was ranked 12th in the QS world rankings in 2017.
This is not hard to believe as this state-of-the-art campus not only boasts of having some of the best technologies and techniques currently being used in teaching today but a three-storey library open to all 24/7 during the semester. UEA is constantly introducing different programmes and activities to engage, stimulate and support its diverse student body. Some of the ways it does this is through offering career and employment guidance and advice at Career Central, academic skills and writing support at Support Centre and a wide range of societies students can join.
