Each year a team of dedicated students takes to the phones to speak to as many of our alumni as possible during the Alumni Call Campaign. The campaign is your opportunity to speak directly with a current student and find out what UEA is like today. The campaign also raises support for areas of need at the University – areas where alumni can make a real difference.
This year we're raising support for:
- Scholarships: so important for the future of UEA since the changes around tuition fees
- Prostate Cancer Research: our world-leading research focuses on the role of genetics, food and diet in the fight against prostate cancer
- The Alumni Fund (previously known as Student Experience): originally set-up by alumni this fund supports extra-curricular activities and opportunities for students
- Mentoring and internship programmes: key for building students’ employability skills
If every alumnus we spoke to in the call campaign gave just £20 we could raise over £200,000 and truly make a difference in each of these areas.
Calling takes place on weekday evenings and weekend afternoons in October and November, and again in February and March so listen out for our call then.
