The Science Analytical Facilities are located within the Faculty of Science at the University of East Anglia. The facilities comprise 7 Instrument Platforms: Bio-imaging, Structural Imaging, Mass Spectrometry, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), X-ray, Elemental Analysis, and Stable Isotope Analysis.
More information on each of these platforms can be found in the links below. Each platform has an academic lead and experienced analytical technicians.
The Science Analytical Facilities offer an analytical service. This service is available to UEA, the Norwich Research Park and the wider scientific and business community in the UK and abroad. Within the University and the Park, personnel can be trained in the development of the analytical techniques appropriate to their samples, including preparation and instrument operation.
The Science Analytical Facility conforms to the requirement of ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System. First achieved in 2017.
