Campus Tours
Campus Tours give you the opportunity to explore our campus and accommodation in small groups, the experience is tailored to you. Tours are run by current students, so you can ask questions and get real insight into what it's like to study and live at UEA.
Campus Tours start between 11:30am and 12:15pm.
Quiet Mini Open Day
For those who want a calmer, less busy environment, our sensory-friendly Quiet Mini Open Day provides an opportunity to concentrate on what matters most: getting to know UEA and finding out if it's the right place for you.
Whilst we endeavour to make all our events as accessible and inclusive as possible, our Quiet Mini Open Day is particularly suited to prospective students and their guests who have visible and/or invisible disabilities and/or sensory sensitivities.
Our Quiet Mini Open Day is an alternative event for anyone who is unsure about, cannot attend or would prefer not to attend, a standard Open Day. The Quiet Mini Open Day does not include subject talks or tours of specific departments - you'll be able to experience these if you do decide to attend a standard Open Day. To help those with sensory sensitivities and/or other needs, our standard Open Days include a quiet check-in option and dedicated quiet spaces around campus. Find out more about UEA Open Days.
To help you make the most of your visit to UEA, we will:
Provide a quiet check-in option and dedicated quiet spaces
Reduce lighting levels in venues wherever possible
Limit visual stimulus in our Information Zone where possible
Stagger check-in to limit crowding and queues
Have staff on hand to assist with specific queries
Please note that due to the range of sensory needs of other groups attending this event, we cannot guarantee that the venue will be quiet throughout the event.
Due to the nature of this event, we will be limiting spaces and therefore booking is essential.
Mini Open Days
Mini Open Days are shorter than a full Open Day and offer a general overview of UEA life, but don’t include subject-specific content.
You can hear talks about student life, meet students and staff, and tour our campus and student residences, with time to explore and get a feel for the campus and city.
Whether you’re considering undergraduate or postgraduate studies, a Mini Open Day is the perfect way for you – and your family and supporters – to find out more about life at UEA.
Mini Open Days start at 11:30am finish by 3pm. Last tours depart at 2pm.
Subject-specific facilities
Subject-specific facilities and academic staff are not available at Campus Tours or standard Mini Open Days. If you would like to see inside the teaching facilities or chat with an academic for your chosen subject, please book onto one of our Open Days or, if you have an offer to study with us, accept your invitation to one of our Applicant Days.
You can also explore many of our teaching spaces online using our Virtual Open Day platform.
Self-guided tours
If you would like to visit campus at another time and have a wander at your own pace, you also can also use our self-guided campus tour which suggests a route around campus to see a range of teaching buildings, facilities and accommodation.
